Frequently asked questions

Which accounts can I reconcile?

The Bizflow Wallet, your bank accounts, M-PESA paybills and tills, petty cash floats, and shop tills.

How do bank statements get into Bizflow?

Upload the statement your bank gives you. Wallet and M-PESA payments come in on their own as they happen.

How does Bizflow match a line?

By amount, reference, payee, and date, and by any rules you save. Lines it can't match come with suggestions you approve or change.

What if a customer pays without an invoice number?

The payment is flagged with suggestions, such as invoices for the same amount or from a customer who has paid from that number before.

What happens with overpayments?

The extra is kept as credit for the customer. You can use it on their next invoice or refund it.

Can I stop changes after the month is closed?

Yes. Lock the month once it is reconciled. Corrections then go into the next month, with a reason.

Does it work with my accounting system?

Reconciled payments and entries sync to your accounting system, so the books there agree with Bizflow.

Close the month in an afternoon.

Match the bank, M-PESA, and tills automatically, explain the rest, and lock the month.
