What happens when a budget is used up?
Bizflow blocks new requests and purchase orders against that budget. The team can request a top-up with a reason, and it goes to the right approvers before any extra spend is allowed.
Can I set budgets for departments and teams at the same time?
Yes. Budgets nest: a company budget splits into departments, and departments split into teams. Spend at team level rolls up automatically.
Can I import my existing budget?
Yes. Upload your spreadsheet, match its columns to Bizflow fields such as department, team, amount, and owner, and review before you import.
Who decides when budget alerts fire?
You do. Each budget owner can set alerts at the levels they choose, for example at 75% and 90%, and choose who gets notified.
Which spend counts against a budget?
Requisitions, purchase orders, bills, expenses, and petty cash all draw from the budget they are assigned to.
