  • ✕Signed invoices are cancelled and reissued, and KRA sees a mess.

✓A credit note corrects the original invoice, signed by eTIMS and linked to it.

  • ✕Refunds are sent from someone's phone with no record.

✓Refunds are approved and paid from the wallet, linked to the credit note.

  • ✕Supplier credits are forgotten, and you pay the full bill.

✓Supplier credit notes are matched with KRA and taken off the right bill.

Credit, settle, and keep VAT right.

Credit notes to customers and from suppliers, each tied to the invoice it corrects, settled the right way, and reflected in your VAT.

Corrections that KRA can follow.

A signed invoice can't be edited. A credit note corrects it, and Bizflow makes sure every one is done the same careful way.

Credit notes over the amount you set need a manager or finance to approve.

  • Stock comes back

When goods are returned, they go back into stock or a returns store to be checked.

Cashiers handle returns at the till, finance approves refunds on the go, and supplier credits land on the right bill.

  • Returns at the till

Scan the receipt, take the item back, and print a signed credit note.

  • Approve refunds on the go

See why the customer is owed money and approve the refund.

Frequently asked questions

Why not just cancel and reissue the invoice?

Once an invoice is signed by eTIMS it can't be edited or deleted. A credit note against it is the correct way to reduce or reverse it, and KRA can follow the link.

Can I credit part of an invoice?

Yes. Choose the lines and quantities to credit. You can't credit more than what is left on the original invoice.

What happens to the money?

Use the credit on the customer's next invoice, refund it to M-PESA or bank after approval, or keep it on their account for later.

Can cashiers do returns at the till?

Yes. Scan or look up the receipt, choose the items, and Bizflow prints a signed credit note and puts the stock back.

How are supplier credit notes handled?

Record them against the supplier's bills. They are matched with KRA eTIMS and taken off what you pay.

How do credit notes affect VAT?

Credit notes to customers reduce your output VAT, and credit notes from suppliers reduce your input VAT. Both show in the month they are issued.

Correct invoices without the mess.

Raise credit notes against the right invoice, sign them with eTIMS, and settle them the way your customer needs.
