Frequently asked questions

Can I track stock in more than one warehouse?

Yes. Track stock by warehouse and location, transfer between them, and see totals across all of them or for one at a time.

How does automatic reordering work?

Set a reorder point and quantity for each item. When stock falls below the point, Bizflow suggests the order, or raises a purchase order to the right supplier for approval.

Can I track batches and expiry dates?

Yes. Turn on batch and expiry tracking for the items that need it, and Bizflow picks the batch that expires first when you sell or issue stock.

Can I track items by serial number?

Yes. Track devices, tools, and other high-value items by serial number, so you can see where each one is: in the store, with a technician, at a customer, or in repair.

Which costing methods do you support?

Weighted average is the default, and you can choose other methods. You can also include freight and tax in the cost of stock.

How do field teams report stock?

At the end of each day, technicians submit what they were issued, installed, and returned. Unused stock is carried forward or returned, and missing submissions are flagged.

Do stock adjustments need approval?

You decide. Set approval for adjustments above a value you choose, and for transfers between warehouses.

Can I ask Claude about my stock?

Yes. Connect Bizflow to Claude and ask about stock levels, reorders, idle stock, and field stock in plain English.
